Iceland introduced border restrictions on foreigners from non-EEA/EFTA states

Following the decision by the government of Iceland, restrictions shall apply to Japanese nationals when entering Iceland.
From the 20th of March until the 17th of April, foreigners from non-EEA/EFTA states will NOT be allowed to enter Iceland except the below case;
1) have a valid residence permit issued in Iceland or other Schengen state.
2) have relatives in Iceland or the above states.
3) have an urgent matter such as;
a. Passengers on connecting flights.
b. Healthcare and elderly care services staff.
c. Personnel handling the transport of goods and services.
d. Individuals in need of international protection.
e. Individuals who need to travel due to urgent circumstances in their family.
f. Diplomats, international organizations, military members, and humanitarian aid workers.
