On May 23, Ambassador Suzuki visited the Icelandic abalone farming company Aurora Abalone.
The company imported and farms Ezo abalone, which is considered to be one of the finest abalone species, from Japan.
Currently, their main export markets are Europe and the USA, but they are aiming to expand exports to the Asian market in the future.
