Manga Workshop and Piano Concert at Culture Night

On August 20, the Embassy held a manga workshop and a piano concert at the Culture Night in Reykjavik.
The Manga Workshop was co-hosted by the Icelandic Manga Association and the Reykjavik City Library. After a brief presentation on manga, a lecture was given on how to draw basic human figures. Many people, from children to adults, participated in the workshop.
In addition, we invited a Japanese pianist Tempei Nakamura to give a concert at the National Gallery. At the end of the concert, the audience was mesmerized by the performance, which was so impressive that it received a standing ovation.
