School Visit (Introduction of the Japanese Children's Day)

On May 3, the Embassy, together with a member of the alumni association Ágúst-san, visited Laugarnesskóli and gave an introduction about Japan and the Japanese Children's Day celebrated annually on May 5.
Students looked interested in the actual Japanese flag and a mini samurai helmet, which were shown along with the presentation.
Finally, carp streamers owned by the Embassy were hoisted in the school grounds.
