Visit to IIJ micro data center and Írafoss hydropower station

On May 25, Ambassador Suzuki visited a micro data center operated by Internet Initiative Japan Inc.
The data center, located at the Írafoss hydropower station, is powered by 100% renewable energy in cooperation with the National Power Company of Iceland (Landsvirkjun), and is being used to demonstrate several projects, including remote operation in an unmanned environment.
