On May 2, Ambassador Takewaka attended the award ceremony for the Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation Iceland Branch Scholarship at the University of Iceland and delivered a congratulatory address.
The Scandinavia-Japan Sasakawa Foundation provides grants to individuals and research institutions for projects that contribute to mutual understanding between Japan and the five Nordic countries. This year, a total of 20 scholarship recipients, including students, researchers, and artists, were awarded this honor.
